Lift me from the ashes
Heal my broken heart
I’m so tired and weary
Of feeling torn apart

Pain I have embraced
Many tears I’ve cried
I’m so tired of waiting
Of walking on this line

Days now seem endless
Months turned to years
Here I am still waiting
Even through the tears

My heart is oh so lonely
These arms ache for you
Lord please lift me up
And show me what to do

Let your will be done
God help me to let go
To surrender all to you
That my heart shall go

The path you design
I may not understand
So help my heart obey
Take me by the hand

Lift me from the ashes
Heal my broken heart
I’m so tired and weary
