A Bi-Polar Mothers Prayer
Sometimes I feel like a child hiding under a stone, waiting for Gods
Wrath. Sheltering underneath is my baby. Please God, don't make her
pay for my sins. The misdeeds, the bad thoughts, and the sins my
Mother would never have committed.
The clawing and scratching in my mind that invites paranoia to bust
through. My heart is beating rapidly. My brain is awash in shame.
Please Dear God take pity and help me live a good life. Help my
daughter take after my Mom, not me. Please allow me to be there to
watch. Please Lord; help me be the good Mom I am supposed to be.
