Sunshine List Poem
Poem by Amanda Gerlick
Sunshine; so tempting and warm on a summer day.
Shining, gleaming, beaming so nicely in the sky.
The sun smiles at the dark world and day that lies ahead.
The scorching heat contained in it, an endless burning fire.
Rays reach to the planet Earth below and awaken people
from their slumber.
Divine beauty; a fierce yellow and fiery orange appearance.
How confident the sun is, it gracefully and joyously dances and
expresses itself in the clear, liquefying blue sky.
A delightful design, but to only be glanced at, for it is so blazing.
Intense is the heat, but how radiant, glowing, and peaceful the
sun really is.
The sun shines, glitters, twinkles, flashes, illuminates, and alights
the world and this journey in which we call life.
