Things I miss

I miss being a little kid again,
not being able to play as much,
and not worrying either.

I miss my grandmother,
how we used to spend so much time together
through our lives before she slipped right
through my fingers.

I miss my sister as she is starting a new chapter
in her life, while I think of all the good times.

I miss all the chances I had to do something right when I chose wrong.

I miss summer, the warm weather, traveling with family,
no homework, and all the free time I had.

I miss playing soccer, telling myself I wouldn't make the team
and eventually having to let go of my favorite thing.

I miss my friends that I have lost that I talk to occasionally.

I miss many things, but would never want it back.
(Only a few)
