Childhood
These memories we
share will never cease.
The times spent
together, laughter you brought,
Your jokes, your
stories, these things gave me peace.
The love from our
friendship will not decrease.
We got through
hard times, those in which we fought,
These memories we
share will never cease.
Summer out by the
pond, our picnic feast,
The quiet times we
spent just deep in thought.
Your jokes your
stories, these things gave me peace.
Every imaginary
trip to Greece,
Each movie ticket
or ice cream bought,
These memories we
share will never cease.
Our pictures to
remember in the least,
The good times and
bad times each mean a lot.
Your jokes, your
stories, these things gave me peace.
All of my worries
you helped me release,
Forever you’ll be,
always in my thoughts,
These memories we
share will never cease,
Your jokes, your
stories, these things brought me peace.
