Poem by Mahir Yasar Amid the hawling dogs, ear-catching ships and nasty carbagesI tried hard to feel the smell of the sausages‘cuz I was fed up with the unworldly things oh dear“Shall I compare thee to a summer day” screams ShakespeareNature caught me and tied my feelings hardI dreamed of Africa, the lovely and heavenly yardOh my Lord ,why these creatures are so blindTo see the beauties and plussesOr has it been ages since they last cried Or just do not wanna enter my classesOh birds, flies and antsMy dear friends living in the carbage canI close my eyes not to see your ends‘cos I haven’t been a strong manto fight among the dirty handsOh dear butterfly you wanna be my fanOr just try to feel my sense I will fly over the sea one dayIf I see such things in MayThere appeared a powerful thing in front of meSaid she has lost the key“Do not worry about it” I said, Lets have funI promise I will definitely turn to you like this flower leaning towards the sun
