Who am I?

Poem by David Cannon

Search inside the soul,
That is who I am,
Nor this skin,
This face,
These hands.

My body is just a vessel,
I am a passenger,
On a voyage,
Of self-discovery.
To discover who I am,

Nor this skin,
This face,
These hands.

THE DREAM

Poem by D. K.

i had a dream of you last night my love
it seemed so very real
you held me close and tight my love
and wonderful is how you made me feel

we went to the beach in the dream my love
to watch the sun go down
we went for a midnight swim my love
and you held me up so not to drown

we had so much fun that night my love
the night with you in my dream
it's one place that i'll always remember my love
that together there we have been

i woke up today with you next to me my love
i woke up on the beach with you
and i realized it wasn't a dream at all my love
all that had happened was very true.
