Where I Found Me
Poem by Michelle Diane Pierce

Words cannot describe the way I feel.
They cannot explain what I mean, or even what is real.
For reality is only an illusion to me, but when my
reality becomes yours, it is then that I know we both truly see.
My life began long ago, but before I knew you,
I had nothing for it to show.
But you have become my saving knight,
and with you I soar on wings of flight.
Because when I was hurt and greatly in need,
you came along and helped me to my feet.
Though I was in bondage and I could not see,
you arrived, and it was you who set me free.
And now it is so plain to see,
that when I found you, what I really found was me.

Plague
There is a infectious epidemic
Nearly timeless
Painful in every aspect
With no cure to this day, yet
It swells, buried inside the heart of its victims
Spreading across nations
And if not abolished
Could turn from alienation to annihilation
This is an immense disease
But the only cure is hope

GOODBYE DAD

REST IN PEACE

My Dad was like a mountain, tall, big and strong

He was always there, if anything went wrong

He was our protector, our provider and a friend

Other people was his concern, right up to the end

He was hard but soft, strict but true

You looked after him, He looked after you

So Dad if you are listening, I would like to say

I miss you now already, and think of you each day

So now my world has got a space

which no-one else could fill

My Dad will always be with me

and I know he always will.

You was the best, you now are gone

You made me proud to be your son
