Subject a pony's tale....
Non-fiction by Tracy D. Lemley

Body: I love my kids so much! Started this day with everyone off and running like a herd of turtles! The girls fighting over who is in the bathroom . Hairbrushes being grabbed. The doorbell starts ringing here at 5:30 am and coffee pot making funny sounds. All the busy stuff going on and me trying to sign papers for school that should have been signed last night and finding backpacks. The yelling about " MOM! don't forget I have a field trip and the money is due today!" stuff. I always plan to do better in the mornings but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. I sit down for a second and a hairbrush is shoved at me and a "MOM! I need you to put my hair up pleeease" follows. My youngest son is just watching and waiting. I ask the girl how does she want her hair? a pony tail or pig tails? She tells me right away to put in a pony tail and is prancing around the kitchen. My little darling son then starts his laughing and pointing at his sister. He says "you know what is under a pony's tail don't ya sis???? A HORSES BUTT!" They are so sweet in the mornings...one day I will sleep in!
have fun today and keep smiling!
