KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid
Non-fiction by Alethea

Truth.  Such a powerful word, with so little meaning.   It has been nit-picking at man for millions of years. And it will continue to remain powerful with each person's acquiescence of a third party's interpretation of his/their personal perception and/or interpretation of a truth.  "A thing is not truth till it is so strongly believed in that the believer is convinced that its existence does not depend upon him."
- Chapman.

A conception of what truth is has important consequences for a conception of what reality in general is, and how it is to be understood at its most profound level.  Common-sense, tells us that a proposition is true when its content is adequate to the situation in the world to which it refers.  So: 'the sky is blue' is true if, and only if, the thing, out there in the world, we call the sky, is actually the color we call blue at the time the proposition is stated.

"The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound statement." -
Neils Bohr

And Godel preached unto the multitude, saying, "Whatever thou knowest, if it be truly worth knowing, thou canst never be sure of". And he said unto them, "For every truth that thou canst prove, there is another that thou cannot prove." And the multitude was abashed and sore perplexed.

Numbers deserve a somewhat honorable mention right now.  Because so, so
many minds are deceived by them.  Numbers are safe and secure, and either persons are restricted by fear or have not the capacity to see outside and all around, of the beautiful equations they created.  There is a majestic quality to numbers, and in accordance with them, truth and reality get blessed with identities.  And armed with this, the infamous "they" come barging forth, with swords raised, declaring, designating and deciding that "it" is so.  But if you look close enough they hold not blades of steel, only Swiss army knives.

Numbers are a creation of man, as is time, and time in turn created man's reality.  Numbers, by the definition of man, are said to be infinite, therefore the answer must be there, but by that singular conclusion, man instantaneously created a finite thought process, which limited his ability to comprehend the realm beyond numbers.

There is no reality, only time.  Time is a perception of man and is only individual.  Time had to be created before man understood any such thing as reality i.e. truth.  And reality is not stable nor is it a constant.  There are no two realities that are alike in any manner.  The only way to understand and to comprehend truth and reality is to look to yourself.  Listen to your soul, hear and feel the knowledge that it contains.  Our souls are separate entities within us, we are merely its hosts.  What it has experienced in the past is shared with us, we need only to listen.  We all have a vast carnal knowledge.  It is difficult for most to unlearn the conformist teachings of a lost society, but it can be done.  All we need do is trust what we already know.

Now to take this all a little further, we should take into account words themselves and the manner in which we designate them for the sole purpose of attempting a definition..................a definition of ourselves.  Definition may be defined as the process of translating one irreducible concept into another irreducible concept while removing most of the content.   Words come before definitions. The word is a label, an invention. It is a response to a felt regularity and arises from experience itself. The definition which follows is an attempt at analysis of what the word refers to.

"Nothing troubles me more than time and space; yet nothing troubles me less."  Charles Lamb

"Time discovered truth." - Maltese proverb

"Truth is a child of time." - Don Ford

"Chaos is the score upon which reality is written."   Henry Miller (1891-1980)

"Philosophy contemplates reason, whence comes knowledge of the true; philosophy observes that of which human choice is the author, whence comes consciousness of the certain." - Vico
