Fiction by Erica Xerri 8 y/o
Once, a little girl named
Erica was Trick-Or-Treating on Halloween. She didn't get much candy
because her neighborhood was pretty empty. As Erica was walking home
with the yummy candy, she saw a shadow. Erica was a little scared,
but told herself "no it's just my imagination." She kept on walking
and started seeing more of the shadows and more. Erica's walk turned
into a run. She was running as fast as she could when suddenly the
shadows were surrounding her. Very scared Erica ran past the
shadows. Ran, ran, and ran until she got home. When she entered her
house her mother was washing the dishes. Her mother turned around,
she had a pointy nose, scary sharp teeth, and a wart on her cheek.
Erica stood still. She had never seen her mother like that ugly,
dirty and even black teeth. Erica ran for the door, but when she did
there were ghosts, goblins, skeletons, and werewolves. Erica was
captured. She screamed NO!!!!!!! When Erica woke up she realized it
was just a dream. A big monster came in her room. She yelled ahh!
Monster.
Erica's brother Jason bragged
''I scared you I scared you.'' ''Ha Ha very funny'' I told Jason. He
whined to go trick-or-treating. I said ''ok lets go silly goose.''
