How do I get my work posted on stationhill.com?
It is very easy!  1. Your work must be sent by Email to Roger@stationhill.com.  Please send only one work per Email.  Your work must be in the body of the email as my virus scan deletes many of the incoming attachments.  2. Your work must not be upsetting to our readers.  3. Your work must have at least minimum levels of quality for your age level.  4. You must include your age if under 18.  5. Your work must be original.  6. You must agree that you are solely responsible for your work.  7. You must agree that your work will remain on our site for an undetermined length of time (but will be removed at your request).  Submitting your work shows agreement with points 5, 6 & 7.  8. Your work must be in English.  9. Your work must be less than 10,000 words.  Stationhill.com will not have any rights to your work other than posting it on our web-site.

Will you edit my work? NO.  Will you type in or scan in my work if I send it by postal mail?  NO.  Can I submit works that I wrote a long time ago? YES.  Will you post my mailing address and/or phone number? NO, we don't do this due to privacy and safety issues.  However, we will post your Email address, if you wish, so that publishers or reviewers can contact you.  We will make a "brief preview" of your work.  Please make an extra effort to avoid misspellings. Remember that even if your work passes spell check, there may still be misspelled words.  You may have used an incorrect word for your work that passes spell check because it is a word but not the correct word.  Stationhill.com believes in traditional English as opposed to internet English.  If the work is poor or contains offensive material, we will not post it.  We make no effort to verify the facts or conclusions in any work.  We ask readers to notify us of any offensive material that may have been missed in our "brief preview".

What is the chance that a publisher will contact me?
Probably quite low, but it depends on the quality of your work and the publisher's needs.  Does this web-site receive any commission if a work is purchased by a publisher? NO.

I think that I want to post my work but I'm not sure.  Having your work posted on stationhill.com may change your life.  You will feel that you are a writer.  Being published will give you a feeling of accomplishment and a dedication toward your new works.  Amateur writers have sent me many emails telling me how ecstatic they were when they first got published.  We urge you to send in your work.  We will do what we can to help you.  If you are afraid that you might embarrass yourself by posting your work, we will accept an author name of 'Anonymous' or your use of a pen name.

I have requested "Reviews and Comments" but have not received any.   Many authors have made this comment to me.  Stationhill.com cannot force readers to comment on your work.  This is what I suggest; you (the writer who wishes to receive comments), should seriously and carefully read over a work which is similar to yours, and email your comments to the author.  At the end of your email, give the name and location of your piece and ask them to comment on your posting.  Please take this seriously, do not tell the author that their work is great if in your opinion it is poor.  On the other hand, do not be overly critical.  Please give writers who are under 18 years of age easier treatment.   Please go beyond just saying that the work is good, average or poor.  Try to make helpful comments such as: do more character development, use shorter sentences, paragraph 4 doesn't work for me because I can't understand it, etc.  Also, be sure to mention what the author has done well.  Please make no more than 3 comments per piece so that the author does not lose heart with their writing.  You will find that making "Comments and Reviews" will improve your writing more than receiving "Comments and Reviews" will.
