Game1: This  game is against Pete H.  Pete was a student at Harvard University.  We met at the 5th and final round of the New England Intercollegiate Team Tournament.  This game, although it does not have very many moves took a very long time to play.  We were both in time trouble on the 19th move.  This game was the last game being played in the tournament and would decide whether Harvard or the University of Maine team would win.  Our coach, George C., told me that I needed to win the game for Maine to win the tournament.  If I drew or lost, Maine would come in second or third.  Pete overheard my conversation with George.  Pete seemed to chuckle to himself, and he turned and said something to one of his teammates.  At that time, I felt that Pete had the advantage and seemed to be insulting me.  This gave me extra satisfaction when, a few moves later, I caught him in a trap and crushed him with my 22nd and 23rd moves.  Maine won the tournament.

Game2:  This game is against an International Master named Julio K.  Julio was so much better than me that he should win 100 out of 100 games.  However, this was not a regular game.  This was a simultaneous exhibition with Julio playing 26 people at the same time.  Julio made a disastrous blunder on his 17th move.  This is a blunder that he never would have made in a one on one game.  I was the only one to win that day, Julio won the other 25 games.

Game3: This game is against George C.  George was a college professor who loved chess.  He was the leader and guiding light of our chess club.  Everyone would agree that George was a better player than I was, but there was something in the clash of our styles that allowed me win 80% of our games.  George was very much aware of this and he usually tried to deal with it by launching an all out attack against me from the first move of the game.  It has always been my opinion that it is easy to beat an unjustified attack.  See what you think.
